The NY Giants look much different now than they did a year ago today.
The NY Giants have completely revamped their roster from a year ago.
In 2020, the NY Giants no longer had Eli Manning and Saquon Barkley. Coming up in 2021, there will be no Dalvin Tomlinson or Wayne Gallman, but the team added many new pieces to the team.
The Giants have made a concerted effort this season to target external free agents and fill holes within the existing roster. New York will see many new names and jersey numbers lining up in the home blues this year.
The NY Giants’ offseason moves have been widely encouraging and the team looks better on paper than in several years. Of course, NFL rosters “on paper” mean absolutely nothing and the Fightin’ Joe Judges will need to put in the work and buy into the coaching staff’s culture in order to actually be successful. It’s been far too long since the Giants had a winning team.
Although it’s an exciting time in the offseason, there is still much work to do and improvements to be made. Only wins and losses will truly define the Giants’ 2021 season, it’s no longer about “progress” or “encouraging signs”.
This team is set to win now and they must do so immediately in 2021.
