The NY Giants will need to conquer and defeat these teams in order to get back to the NFL playoffs.

The NY Giants are still looking for their first playoff appearance since 2016. Even more importantly, New York is chasing its first playoff (and Super Bowl) win since 2011, where they defeated the Patriots in Lucas Oil Stadium to win Super Bowl XLVI.

The NFL is expected to adopt a 17-game schedule for 2021 and beyond.

It is the first change to the league’s schedule since 1978, which is also the longest stretch in NFL history without tinkering with the schedule.

The Giants will see the usual suspects in the NFC East, but will also see plenty of new competition this year along with teams they also played last year. The NY Giants again will see the Bears, Buccanneers, and Rams after playing them in 2021. The Giants went 0-3 against this trio and will look to bounceback from last year’s winless record against them.

The Giants need to get off to a fast start this season.

They haven’t won in Week 1 since 2016. The team has also started 0-2 in four consecutive seasons, an unacceptable number by any means. It’s imperative the Giants win early in September. They can’t face another 0-2 start like last year and try to catch up when it’s too late.

Here, we evaluate the Giants 2021 opponents.
