Kansas City Chiefs

2020 Record: 14-2 (Lost in Super Bowl LIV)

2021 Venue: GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium.

The Kansas City Chiefs may have lost last year’s Super Bowl, but don’t expect some type of Super Bowl hangover.

This team is simply far too talented to let that happen.

The Chiefs bring back the core of their team, headlined by Pat Mahomes, Tyreek Hill, and Travis Kelce on offense along with the defense led by Chris Jones and Tyrann Mathieu. The Chiefs also have the most impressive 1-2 combo on the sidelines in their coaching duo of HC Andy Reid and OC Eric Bieniemy. Their ability to draw up plays, scheme guys open, and consistently move the chains and light up scoreboards is simply unmatched in the current NFL landscape.

The Chiefs also shored up the trenches on both sides of the ball, the two weaknesses on the roster. They added the former All-Pro Joe Thuney to play guard in front of Mahomes while they just nabbed Jarran Reed from the Seahawks.

The Chiefs have the NFL’s best group of weapons, the most talented quarterback, and the best coaching staff in football right now. It’s hard to compete with any of that.

It will be the NY Giants’ biggest matchup and toughest competition all year.
