The Carolina Panthers are another team dealing with their own identity struggles. Christian McCaffrey barely played last season and Teddy Bridgewater didn’t live up to his newly-signed contract.

Matt Rhule has his fingerprints all over this roster.

He has signed several of his former players he coached in college both at Baylor and Temple. Mind you that Rhule was seen as one of the Giants’ top candidates for their Head Coach before hiring Joe Judge. Rhule got a massive 7-year, $62 million contract from the Panthers’ new billionaire owner, Dave Tepper. John Mara and Steve Tisch were never going to throw any type of money like that at an unproven, rookie head coach.
