The Philadelphia  Eagles are the first opponent here the NY Giants are very familiar with. Gone is Carson Wentz and Doug Pedersen, but Jalen Hurts and GM Howie Roseman will return under much scrutiny in the City of Brotherly Love.

Nick Sirianni will look to make his mark as a first-time head coach after running the Colts’ offense for three seasons. He will depend on Jalen Hurts, the 2020 2nd round pick who was a backup all season before being benched in the penultimate game of Week 17. The Eagles have spent all offseason in salary cap hell and they have had to purge key players off their roster along with not being able to adequately replace them.

The Eagles’ 2017 Super Bowl parade consisted of mostly players all gone from this current 2021 roster. They are starting fresh from the ground up this season, it will be interesting to see them compete in the NFC East.
