2020 Record: 8-8

2021 Venue: MetLife Stadium

The NY Giants will welcome the black hole of Las Vegas to the Northeast in 2021.

Jon Gruden’s team is under a lot of pressure to perform well in 2021. The Raiders collapsed in the second half of 2021, something that’s become far too familiar for the black and silver in recent years.

Derek Carr’s play has come under the microscope as many wonder what has gone wrong for his team each year in the last eight weeks of the season. Henry Ruggs and Darren Waller will test the Giants defense, as will the new 1-2 combo of Josh Jacobs and Kenyan Drake. It’s an explosive group that will keep Pat Graham on his toes.

The Giants last time playing the Raiders was the infamous disaster of 2017 where Eli Manning’s consecutive starts streak came to an end. Geno Smith quarterbacked the NY Giants to an ugly loss in Oakland that day and subsequently cost the jobs of both Head Coach Ben McAdoo and GM Jerry Reese.

Let’s only hope the results of this game can’t be worse than 2017.
