The NFC East is one of the NFL’s most-watched, entertaining, and intriguing divisions in the NFL every year.

All four teams play in massive markets in New York, Dallas, Washington, and Philadelphia. There has been nothing but drama and parity throughout the 21st century in terms of NFC East supremacy. In fact, the division hasn’t had a repeat winner since the Eagles in 2003 and 2004. This 17-year streak is by far the NFL’s longest streak with no consecutive division champion.

The division hasn’t had as much success as they are used to in recent years.

Last season in particular was a complete embarrassment for the whole division. The WFT won the NFC East at 7-9, with the Giants coming in 2nd at 6-10 tied with the Cowboys for 3rd, and the Eagles in sole last at 4-11-1. This type of futility simply has never occurred in the NFC East and it was one of the worst overall performances by any division in NFL history.

Every team in the division has its own strengths and weaknesses. Any team in the NFC East can realistically compete for the division crown in 2021.

Here, we look at each NFC East team and their needs in the draft.
