Round 6, pick No. 201: Tarron Jackson – Edge rusher, Coastal Carolina

Jackson was among the most dominant players in Coastal Carolina’s front-seven last season, producing 8.5 of his 25 sacks across four seasons as a starter.

According to Sports Info Solutions, Jackson generating pressure on 14 percent of his snaps, and Pro Football Focus gives him a 90.3 pass-rush grade.

Jackson’s profile as a rusher could give him a chance to beat out R.J. McIntosh for a roster spot during training camp and potentially crack the NY Giants’ rotation if his vast repertoire of pass-rush moves is as dominant in the NFL as it was in college.
