The NY Giants again have found themselves with a former player in potentially serious trouble with the law.

Travis Rudolph has been booked and arrested by the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office for 1st Degree Murder along with another Attempted 1st Degree Murder.

Rudolph, a former NY Giants wide receiver, played one season in New York in 2017. He played in seven games with one start and had 8 catches for 101 yards in his lone NFL season.

He was cut before Week 1 of the 2018 season before landing with the Miami Dolphins a month or so later. On his first day as a Dolphin, Rudolph tore his ACL and landed on the practice squad injured reserve list. He has never taken an NFL snap since.

Since his knee injury, Rudolph went to the CFL and joined the Winnipeg Blue Bombers where he spent a year with the team in Canada up until these charges Tuesday afternoon.

According to the PBSO, a double shooting occurred after midnight on Tuesday in the Lake Park area. A man was found and transported to the hospital while another man’s dead body was found separately nearby in West Palm Beach.
