2) Offensive tackle

It would make sense for the NY Giants, if either are available, to choose either Oregon’s Penai Sewell or Northwestern’s Rashawn Slater if they are available at No. 11 overall.

In a draft class that is viewed by scouts and executives around the league as being a weak one at offensive tackle, choosing one of the best prospects at the position could round out an impressive offseason rebuild of the offense in the aftermath of big free agent spending at the position.

Andrew Thomas, chosen with the No. 4 overall pick last spring is entrenched as a starter, and Matt Peart offers plenty of potential, but Sewell or Slater would form a bookend to Thomas and perhaps be exactly what Daniel Jones needs both to take the next step in his development as well as maximize the impact of Golladay, Saquon Barkley, Sterling Shepard, and the rest of the Giants’ weapons.
