1) Edge-rusher

With the exception of Ifeadi Odenigbo, who has plenty of potential to take the next step when he arrives in Patrick Graham’s defense, the NY Giants have once again ignored edge rusher this offseason.

After producing a meager 40 sacks last season by piecing together a pass-rush and without a dominant individual presence at the position, this could be the draft the NY Giants invest a premium pick in a potentially premium pass-rusher.

Whether it is Miami’s Gregory Rousseau, Penn State’s Jayson Oweh, Michigan’s Kwity Paye in Round 1 or a player who might slip into the second-round, Gettleman and the NY Giants would be wise to prioritize edge rusher early in this draft.
