Round 3, #76 Overall: The NY Giants select: Nick Bolton, LB, Missouri

Other players considered: Dillon Radunz, Pete Werner, Josh Myers

In Round 3, The Giants finally address their defense. With that, they add a 2nd Team All-American linebacker via Nick Bolton of Missouri. Coming out of the SEC, Bolton dominated the conference with back-to-back 1st Team ALL-SEC teams in 2019 and 2020.

Bolton is known for his exceptional speed. He has the ability to cover passes and chase runs from sideline-to-sideline with his exceptional range and closing ability.

Adding him alongside Blake Martinez and Tae Crowder would put together the Giants’ best linebacking trio in a while. Bolton would immediately become the team’s best coverage ‘backer and would have a good shot at creating a substantial role in Pat Graham’s defense. His ability to blanket running backs and tight ends is eye-opening and he would fit right in with the New York defense.
