When healthy, Barkley is one of the five most dominant running backs in the NFL, and the NY Giants are banking on him coming back with a vengeance after suffering a torn ACL Week 2 last season.

Booker was an interesting signing early in free agency, but his prowess as a pass-catcher, with 122 career receptions for 956 yards and a touchdown through the first 77 games of his career creates possibilities for him and Barkley to create mismatches and optionality in the passing game.

Don’t be surprised if the Giants add a rookie at some point during the NFL Draft, at least in part as an insurance policy on Barkley’s suddenly lengthy injury-history.
