What does free agency say about NY Giants’ NFL Draft Plans?
The NY Giants did a great job in free agency and the next step to complete a great offseason is the NFL draft.
The NY Giants made a big splash at wide receiver as they signed Kenny Golladay and John Ross. They added Kyle Rudolph at tight end. They re-signed Leonard Williams. They also signed Adoree Jackson to be a starting corner opposite James Bradberry.
The NY Giants addresses a lot of their needs in free agency. The two biggest needs remaining are offensive line and someone to rush the passer. The team will hold its own at the positions and it’s not a necessity to draft those positions in round 1. It is believed the two best offensive lineman in the draft will be gone by the time the NY Giants make their pick.

The NY Giants offseason has given them the opportunity to do whatever they want in the NFL draft.
New York hasn’t tipped its hand which way they lean.
Some reports say they lean on the defensive side and others say they lean towards another offensive playmaker. Rumors say Coach Joe Judge loves Devonta Smith and Dave Gettleman is a fan of Micah Parsons. Both players are strong options.
The NY Giants main focus should be fixing a broken offense and adding pieces for Daniel Jones. It is possible that five quarterbacks go in the top 10 picks. If that’s the case w. If offensive weapon may become available to them. Think about the offensive potential of a group featuring Jones, Saquon Barkley, Kenny Golladay, Smith or Waddle, Sterling Shepard, Darius Slayton, Evan Engram and Kyle Rudolph. Or thing about what the current group can do with a top offensive lineman added to the mix.
The NY Giants had a successful time in free agency and because of that the options for Thursday and plenty. They can’t be forced into taking one specific position. The options for Thursday will include Smith, Waddle, Parson, Slater and others. It will be interesting and exciting to see what the NY Giants do next after a very successful offseason.
