Azeez Ojulari, EDGE, Georgia

The NY Giants need help at EDGE, and Ojulari is one of the best at the position still available. The Georgia edge rusher would fit in well with the NY Giants’ 3-4 defense and can provide an immediate upgrade to the  position.

While he does lack the length typically associated with a 3-4 OLB, sitting at only 6-2 and weighing 250 lbs, his explosion off the ball and elite use of hands makes him a weapon in the pass rush game.

The proof is in the resume, and leading the entire SEC in sacks (9.5) and tackles for loss (12.5) speaks volumes. He also added four forced fumbles in ten games.

Many mock drafts Ocular going in the first round, but some medical concerns regarding a degenerative lower leg condition could be a reason he has sipped slightly.

Regardless, an above-average pass rusher is the biggest issue facing this defense at the moment. Adding a player like Ojulari with Leonard Williams and Dexter Lawrence lined up next to him would upgrade this front seven tremendously.
