The bad:

Ojulari fell in the draft due to injury concerns – despite never missing a game while at Georgia. Still, teams flagged the defensive end, causing him to drop out of the first round.

Dan Duggan of The Athletic reported that the famed Dr. James Andrews checked out Ojulari’s knee back in January and saw no hiccups – calling it ‘strong’. Still, when teams did their own examinations of the prospect’s knee in Indianapolis, some must’ve not been thrilled at the results – explaining the slide.

Nevertheless, the concerns weren’t too big for the Giants. After the selection, Judge explained why he felt comfortable with the pick – mentioning that he ‘trusts’ the medical team’s opinion.

It would be devastating to see Ojulari’s career derailed by injuries, as he promises to be a big-time contributor at the next level. If he can stay healthy, he’s only going to get better – becoming a huge piece of the Giants’ defense.
