NY Giants draft Azeez Ojulari: The good, the bad, the grade

The grade:

The NY Giants’ brain trust should be celebrated for what they were able to pull off tonight.

When it’s all said and done, Ojulari could become the greatest value pick of Gettleman’s drafting career. The Giants didn’t just get a contributor at 50th overall, they got arguably the best pass rusher in the entire draft.

The Giants are synonymous with all-time great pass rushers – Ojulari wants to be the next. When asked about living up to those lofty expectations, his motto should inspire confidence – “Give it all you got for those players who played before us.”

Following in the footsteps of legends won’t be easy, but he’s more than up to the task. The Giants bolstered their offense with Kadarius Toney in round one, but Ojulari may have an even bigger impact.
