Overall, Robinson should be a fine pick for the NY Giants.

They have added another talented rookie cornerback with a strong football pedigree. A common draftnik saying nowadays is that you can never have enough corners in today’s NFL.

The Giants are taking that way of drafting and running with it.

They’ve now taken seven cornerbacks in the draft dating back to 2018. Robinson will be thrown right into the mix with the rest of the bunch and will look to separate himself from the rest. He is a talented player with good size and skills for the position.

His path to the NFL was rather complicated. He started at the nation’s top school, transferred, missed an entire season, didn’t give up, and grinded for five years in college. Robinson’s hard work paid off and he earned the NFL opportunity he created for himself.

Although the Giants could still use an offensive lineman, they again shored up the secondary,  becoming a more and more important position in the NFL. Robinson plays with a sense of swagger and natural confidence that comes with him that will fit well in New York’s secondary.
