Edge Rusher

Yes, the NY Giants landed one of the biggest steals in the NFL Draft, Georgia’s Azeez Ojulari.

But, as Gettleman said during the draft, there is no such thing as having too many quality players at any given position.

The problem for the NY Giants, is that while pass rushers are among the most vital positions to a defense’s success, New York has plenty of question marks and few truly dominant players. Lorenzo Carter and Oshane Ximines are coming off significant injuries, and while Ojulari arrives with high expectations, this is a pass rush that overall that saw 21 of the team’s 40 sacks come from the defensive line last season.

Top remaining free agent targets: Melvin Ingram, Olivier Vernon, Justin Houston, Everson Griffen
