Week 16: at Philadelphia Eagles
Philadelphia should be frothing for this game, especially if the Eagles fall to the NY Giants in the first meeting between the teams just four weeks prior.
The NY Giants haven’t swept the Eagles since 2007 and have lost 12 of the last 14 games to their rivals from 90 minutes south, but this season feels like New York is just closer to competing than Philadelphia is.
If the NY Giants are healthy this late in the season, Jones, Golladay, Shepard, Toney, Slayton, Barkley, and Engram is as formidable a collection of offensive skill positions as you’ll find in the NFL. The Eagles’ defense will have its hands full, and overall, it just seems like Philadelphia is closer to rebuilding than competing than the organization would care to admit.
