Week 17: at Chicago Bears

This game will carry added significance for the NY Giants in many ways.

This late in the year, it playoff positioning could be at stake, for the NY Giants. But, regardless of record in the penultimate game of the regular season, we know that NFL Draft positioning will be.

There’s a chance that Chicago could be one of the more improved teams in the NFL this season, if Justin Fields — selected with the pick acquired from New York in a draft night trade — winds up being as advertised.

A win for the NY Giants would both better their chances at making the NFL Playoffs for the first time since 2016, and sink the Bears one loss closer to a top pick.

New York takes care of business and celebrates better draft positioning with some deep dish on the flight back to Newark.

Prediction: 23-13, NY Giants win

Current NY Giants record: (9-7)
