As the NY Giants prepare for a season that could turn the tides of their franchise, there’s no shortage of compelling storylines ahead.

While their schedule may be a mystery until Wednesday night, New York already knows the tall tasks standing in between them and their return to the playoffs.

Super Bowl contenders, heated division rivals, and young, upstart teams — much like themselves — will give the Giants all they can handle in 2021.

If the NY Giants do survive and advance their way to the promised land, they’ll have earned it.

In recent years, the NY Giants have started slow – digging a hole that proved to be too steep. Entering his second season, coach Joe Judge will try to rally his squad to a blazing start.

Courtesy of their superb offseason, the team built by general manager Dave Gettleman will have the eyes of the entire league focused on them. As much as the Giants will be trying to re-establish themselves as a force, other teams will be attempting to keep them down.

The good news for the NFL? With the possible resurgence of the team, the sought after New York market can return to being a primetime staple.

Ahead of the 2021 NFL schedule release, let’s take a look at the 3 most interesting match-ups for the NY Giants:

Honorable Mention:

NY Giants vs. Chicago Bears

If this game wasn’t circled before the NFL Draft, it’s highlighted in big, bold letters now.

Gettleman made the shocking move to trade down in the draft for the first time in his career, and now he’s reaping the benefits. He gained the Chicago Bears’ prized 2022 first round pick, along with the praise of multiple analysts and experts alike.

A unique opportunity now stands in-front of the Giants – one where they could essentially win twice in one day. If they can defeat the Bears, they will help their playoff position in 2021, as well as their draft selection in 2022.

The Giants’ future already looks bright – they can let some more light in with a victory at Soldier Field.
