The NY Giants will kickoff the NFL season on Sunday September 12 at 4:25 PM against the Denver Broncos in MetLife Stadium.

The 2021 NFL schedule dropped Wednesday, and the NY Giants have some great divisional matchups, but also will play some teams they rarely face off against.

The NY Giants will see the Chiefs, Raiders, Chargers, Broncos, Dolphins, Buccaneers, and take on the Saints for the first time post Drew Brees.

New York has an exciting schedule for the 2021 season.

Excluding games against the NFC East let’s look at the NY Giants’ five best most exciting games of the upcoming season:

Week 11: at Tampa Bay Buccaneers

The NY Giants will have a rematch from 2020 with the Super Bowl Champion Tampa Bay Buccaneers, after falling by five points last season.

For the second year in a row it’s a Monday Night Football matchup. It’s a week 11 matchup on November 22. This time, it’s in the Buccaneers’ house.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers won the Super Bowl in their first year with Tom Brady at the helm. In the playoffs they defeated Drew Brees, Aaron Rodgers and Patrick Mahomes in consecutive weeks thanks to a vaunted secondary. Tom Brady was also at his best winning another Super Bowl MVP award.

The  NY Giants fell to the Buccaneers at home on Monday Night football last season 25-23.

Brady had 260 yards and 2 touchdowns and Daniel Jones had 256 yards and 2 touchdowns. The difference in the game was a failed two point conversion and two interceptions by Jones. Jones won his first career start the previous season against the Bucs passing for 2 touchdowns and running for 2 more.
