#11. Tua Tagovailoa, Miami Dolphins

Tua Tagovailoa is one of the great enigmas at quarterback in the 2021 NFL season.

Tua overcame a gruesome hip injury and played in 10 games with nine starts last season. He led the Phins to a 6-3 record although he did not need to do much to get them to that record.

Tua only threw for 1,814 yards with 11 touchdowns and five interceptions in 2020. He was only averaging 6.3 yards per attempt with a QB rating of 87.1.

Tua doesn’t necessarily have the strongest arm, but he can make every intermediate and short throw in the game. That is imperative as the Dolphins’ passing attack revolves around short-yardage and safe throws that lead to space and yards after the catch (YAC).

Tua has an improved group to throw to in 2021. Miami added pure speed and raw talent in Will Fuller and Jaylen Waddle. Miami has no excuses to field a solid offense and the pressure will be on Tua.
