#9. Jalen Hurts, Philadelphia Eagles

Jalen Hurts enters his second NFL season with a much different outlook than his rookie year expectations.

Gone is the incumbent starter, Carson Wentz, who is now in Indianapolis. Hurts no longer projects as a part-time gadget player for Philly’s offense.

Hurts is now the unquestioned starter and leader of the Eagles. There are high expectations for the dual-threat QB who should be able to spark his offense better than Wentz did in 2020.

Philadelphia added a playmaker in DeVonta Smith and Kerryon Johnson and added much-needed protection with Landon Dickerson. Add in the return of Jalen Reagor, Miles Sanders, and Dallas Goedert, Hurts should be able to field a respectable offense.
