Saquon Barkley, Runningback

Draft Spot: #2 in 2018 NFL draft. Selected by the NY Giants

Projected Role: Starting Runningback

Saquon Barkley is heading into year four of his NFL career. While that seems like a long time, Barkley has missed 17 gmes his first three years, or a full NFL season.

Barkley is one of the league’s most unstoppable players with the ball in his hands. If there’s even a second of room or a crease of space, Saquon can make a move and run to daylight. There are few people with his god-given athleticism and talent.

The Giants took Barkley at #2 overall back in 2018. The move was heavily criticized at the time, and the results on the field haven’t yielded a much more positive picture.

If Saquon comes back to full form, he is always a home run threat to take any touch to the endzone. He is the NY Giants’ most talented player and he will need to again carry this offense in 2021.
