Azeez Ojulari will lead the NY Giants in sacks

Over the last couple seasons, the Giants have been begging for someone to step up at the edge rusher position.

Lorenzo Carter showed promise before his injury, and Oshane Ximines showed flashes – but it’ll be nothing compared to the way Azeez Ojulari announces himself this season.

The former Georgia Bulldog put himself on the map in Athens. Last season, he ended his college career with a bang – a three sack, MVP winning performance in a victory against Cincinnati in the Chick-Fil-A Peach Bowl.

He was widely expected to be a first round selection, but he shockingly fell to the Giants in the second round. Now, his mission will be to terrorize every other team that passed on him in April.

Patrick Graham’s defense will reap the benefits of adding Ojulari to their squad – and the Giants’ newest addition to their pass rushing unit will prove the team right for taking him. The team’s defensive coordinator will have his newest toy in the best position to succeed on every snap.

Ojulari may be the most talented edge rusher on the team the minute he steps foot in East Rutherford – he’ll prove his worth by pacing the team in sacks.
