Top 5 NY Giants Fan Trips on NFL 2021 Schedule: What beats Miami?!

No. 1 New Orleans (October 3)
New Orleans is one of America’s greatest cities to visit, and the Fall is one of the best times to go.
If this game were in early September, I’d have knocked it down due to the heat and humidity, but it should be pretty comfortable in October.
For my money, New Orleans is the best food town in America. Cajun and creole cuisines are among a handful of the truly American foods. Most of what we consider American food was born in Europe, with barbecue, cajun and creole being among the most notable exceptions. Antoine’s Family Restaurant is one of the best spots in town, and they invented Oysters Rockefeller. This goes for any spot in New Orleans: if the menu looks too pricey for your budget, check out their lunch menu.
While the bar scene on Bourbon Street can get pretty wild, New Orleans has something to offer the drinker of any age. Frenchman Street is a bit calmer, and loaded with jazz bars, or you can sip a few cocktails at the Sazerac Bar – including their namesake, and the Ramos Gin Fizz.
Café du Monde is also a New Orleans institution for their beignets and café au lait, and word to the wise – they’re open 24/7 if you’ve got a craving after a late night. Pro tip: confectioner’s sugar and a dark shirt do not mix well.
Last but not least, Hansen’s Sno-Bliz has been family owned since 1939, and still draws long lines in the summer. It’s a bit off the beaten path for tourists, but well worth the trip.
New Orleans is also home to the National World War II Museum, and some cool scenic areas such as Jackson Square. Last, but not least, it’s a town built around the hospitality industry – and thus you’ll be treated great in all of the hotels, restaurants, and bars in the area.
