Absent from the NY Giants first round of OTA practices, sources tell FanSided that Kenny Golladay has been in the building this week

Kenny Golladay, after not participating in last week’s voluntary OTA practices has arrived this week as the NY Giants continue offseason preparation, sources tell FanSided.

The NY Giants signed Golladay to a four-year contract back in March, that includes upwards of $45 million guaranteed, and after being absent from the first round of on-field practices, sources say that Golladay has been around and in the building this week.

Golladay, the NY Giants’ marquee addition this offseason, immediately steps into the role of the No. 1 wide receiver in quarterback Daniel Jones’ arsenal in the passing game.

The centerpiece of an offseason rebuild of the wide receiver position, that includes first-round rookie Kadarius Toney, and fellow free agent pickup John Ross, Golladay was the NFL’s leading receiver in 2019, catching 65 passes for 1,190 yards and 11 touchdowns. A hip flexor cost Golladay much of the 2020 campaign, prior to signing with the Giants this offseason.

The NY Giants will open Friday’s practice session to the media for the first time since last week.
