2) Continue integrating Kenny Golladay into Jones’ target-share

Similarly to Toney, Golladay participated in just one week’s worth of voluntary OTA practices, despite this being his first offseason catching passes from Jones and in the NY Giants’ scheme.

During Friday’s OTA practice, which was open to the media, Golladay was a distant-third on Jones’ target hierarchy with receiver Sterling Shepard and eight end Evan Engram both frequent targets of the third-year quarterback.

This week, during the mandatory three-day minicamp, it will be fascinating to see how much more often Golladay is targeted as the speed picks up and the coaching staff continues installing the offense, this time with the full roster anticipated to be in attendance.

Golladay averaged 45 receptions for 767 yards and five touchdowns through his first three-plus seasons with the Detroit Lions, and he was signed by the NY Giants in hopes both of leveling up the production from the team’s wide receiving corps but also jump-starting Jones’ development. Continuing to build the chemistry between the NY Giants’ top battery should be a top priority this week.
