3) Determine the starting secondary

The NY Giants’ secondary has the potential of being the most improved position group on the roster, and arguably one of the premier defensive backfields in the NFL.

However, to date this spring, none of the top-two players at any cornerback or position group have taken part in any voluntary OTAs.

That is expected to change during this week’s mandatory minicamp.

James Bradberry and Adoree’ Jackson are expected to line up outside, but the slot cornerback position will be among the more competitive competitions during training camp this summer. How exactly the NY Giants get Darnay Holmes, Julian Love, Xavier McKinney and Aaron Robinson on the field this season will be fascinating, and we’ll likely see a glimpse of the team’s plan during this minicamp.
