The NY Giants will work with the Cleveland Browns before their Preseason contest in August.
The NY Giants are set to practice with the Cleveland Browns this August.
Browns Head Coach Kevin Stefanski announced the move Wednesday, as the NY Giants will play in Cleveland during the Preseason on August 22nd.
Before the teams meet on the field, they’ll hold a week of joint practices:

There were murmurs over the last few weeks the Giants and Joe Judge were looking to practice with the Patriots ahead of their preseason game. That hasn’t materialized yet and seems unlikely the Giants will compete with two different teams in practice.
With this, it will be Joe Judge’s first time running join practices with another NFL team. The Giants have done this several times before in years past.
This is a juicy team for the NY Giants to pair with in training camp. There are some interesting ties between the two franchises thanks to some coaching staff and players crisscrossing in recent years.
The Giants infamously traded Odell Beckham Jr. to Cleveland alongside Olivier Vernon. The Giants in return got Jabrill Peppers and Kevin Zeitler to go with two draft picks in Dexter Lawrence and Oshane Ximines.
Zeitler and Vernon are both gone from each team but Peppers and Odell are both around and will look to see some familiar faces. Along with this, Freddie Kitchens, the Browns Head Coach in 2019, is on the Giants’ staff as well. It should be an action-packed week in Cleveland as the Giants welcome back their 2014 1st Round Pick.
