Wide Receivers:
Kenny Golladay (WR1)- Joe Judge wants to play to Golladay’s strengths, which means the Big Blue offense should be much more vertical in 2021. According to PFF, the former Lion is the NFL’s highest-graded WR on contested catches since 2018. Jones has his version of Plaxico Burress.
Sterling Shepard (WR2)- Last season when Sterling Shepard went down with an injury in week 2, the Giants offense floundered going 1-4 in five games. The veteran is best out of the slot, but can still get separation on the outside as a secondary/intermediate option.
Kadarius Toney (WR3)- Why Toney over Darius Slayton? The rookie from Florida is more dynamic and causes more headaches for opposing defensive coordinators. Slayton disappointed last season with a 52% catch rate. Toney’s excellent hands (only 3 drops in 150 targets at Florida) and run after the catch ability (30.3 percent missed-tackle rate was the highest figure in SEC) will make him a monster in the screen/reverse game.
