Leonard Williams, Dexter Lawrence, Danny Shelton, Austin Johnson, B.J. Hill

Outside looking in: R.J. McIntosh, David Moa, Raymond Johnson, Niko Lalos

The backbone of the NY Giants’ defense the past several seasons, the defensive line remains among the deeper and more talented positions on the roster, even after wholesale upgrades at cornerback and wide receiver.

Bringing Williams back on a long-term extension was one of the NY Giants’ top offseason priorities, now executed, but the pressure is on Williams at this point to prove his career-high 11.5 sack 2020 campaign wasn’t an aberration.

Lawrence is one of the NFL’s more athletically gifted interior defensive lineman and in addition to being a stout run-stuffer can generate an interior pass-rush, as well.

Shelton and Johnson will look to soften the blow of Dalvin Tomlinson’s departure via free agency to the Minnesota Vikings.
