NY Giants player in need of a strong training camp #2: Kenny Golladay, WR

In signing a four-year, $72 million deal with the NY Giants, Kenny Golladay brought with him the hopes that the NFC East crown is not only attainable but well within reach.

Daniel Jones now has a superstar top option, and Golladay now has a brighter spotlight to grow his own star after injuries derailed what could have been a breakthrough 2020 campaign. The responsibility Golladay now owns makes training camp the essential time period to stake his claim as the head of the table in the WR room.

Darius Slayton and Sterling Shephard will not go silently into the night just handing over the WR1 role to Golladay.

NY Giants player in need of a strong training camp #3: John Ross III, WR

John Ross III has been snakebitten in his four-year NFL career, having not once played all 16 games in a given season during his days as a Cincinnati Bengal.

He is somewhat of a luxury for the current NY Giants, who drafted a big-play threat in Kadarius Toney and have a deep WR room already. No one is mistaking Ross for a potential WR1 for Daniel Jones in 2021, but if he doesn’t show that he is healthy once again, he could find himself buried on the Big Blue depth chart.
