Player #2 unlikely to return after 2021 NY Giants season: Nakia Griffin-Stewart, TE

The second-year tight end out of Pittsburgh (after initially spending time at Rutgers before transferring) Nakia Griffin-Stewart has plenty of competition for catches as well, and like Derrick Dillon, has a near-impossible climb necessary to find the field at all.

The tight room just added a steady veteran in Kyle Rudolph, and Evan Engram figures to receive plenty attention from Daniel Jones as usual. That leaves the less explosive Griffin-Stewart in the dark for getting much of a chance to impress in 2021.

Even when he does find time on the field, passes are more likely to find the hands of Kenny Golladay, Kadarius Toney, and the other WR weapons than they are to find Griffin-Stewart, who caught 32 passes total in his collegiate career.

Player #3 unlikely to return after 2021 NY Giants season: Jarren Williams, CB

The UAlbany product Jarren Williams worked his way up from a middling FCS program to the NY Giants after failing to stick with the Arizona Cardinals last summer. He did not see time on the field for Big Blue last season, though he was active for two games.

Currently on a reserves contract, Williams was dealt a near-death blow with the addition of 2021 sixth-round pick Rodarius Williams out of Oklahoma State. Should he survive preseason cuts, he is likely to get the axe next season.
