NY Giants Tight End: Evan Engram

Hot Seat Temperature: Very High

Evan Engram is one of the Giants’ most talented players. Yet for some reason, he’s been unable to put everything together like he did his rookie year in 2017 and have a complete season at tight end.

Engram had six passes thrown his way that ended up interceptions last year.  Engram also had some fumbles both after catches and on botched handoffs, along with a knack for drops on third downs and in other key situations.

Engram has been around for four seasons. He already had his 5th-year option picked up so he’s pretty much locked in for 2021. Engram will have added competition with Kyle Rudolph this year and will go head-to-head for snaps in different situations and personnel groupings.

If Engram doesn’t fix his drop issues and can’t stay healthy, it will likely be his last season in blue with New York. He’s the biggest enigma on the roster as his talent is undeniable, but for some reason, he’s been unable to translate his skills on Sundays.
