Years: 1934-1941

Legacy: Two-time NFL Champion (1934, 1938); Two-time First-team All-Pro (1935, 1938)

Throughout Ed Danowski’s time as the NY Giants’ starting quarterback, the team was among the most feared in the entire league.

Danowski led the franchise to four championship games, winning two of them. The team had just one losing season throughout his tenure – and he was consistently among the league leaders in touchdowns, passing yards and passer rating.

Danowski’s stellar play helped the Giants establish their early success – making them one of the legendary franchises in NFL history.
