4) Rodney Hampton

Years: 1990-1997

Legacy: Super Bowl Champion (XXV); Two-time Pro Bowl (1992, 1993)

After the NY Giants’ made Rodney Hampton their first-round pick in 1990, he became their best offensive weapon for most of his career.

While his rookie season was cut short due to injury, he was phenomenal afterwards – rushing for over 1,000 yards in each of the next five seasons. His ability to find rushing lanes and electrify the team’s offense was invaluable.

He spent his entire career in New York – while he missed the team’s lone Super Bowl win in his tenure, he certainly wasn’t the reason they didn’t make it back.
