Outside Receiver

1) Darius Slayton

This is another spot to keep an eye on Toney.

Toney will likely push for the slot job, but he has the speed to unseat Slayton as a starting player — and weapon — on the outside. On most teams, Slayton would be an outstanding No. 3 wide receiver, averaging 15.2 yards per reception and catching 11 touchdowns through the first 30 games of his career.

However, it could be a heated battle between Slayton and Toney for the starting outside receiver job, if Shepard is entrenched in the slot.

2) Austin Mack

Mack struggled with drops and inconsistency last season. He could face an uphill climb to make the roster this summer.
