3) George Martin

Years: 1975-1988

Legacy: Super Bowl Champion (XXI)

The unsung hero of the NY Giants’ journey to their first Super Bowl victory.

George Martin was always there. Literally – well, almost – he played in all but six games over his career in New York. He was regarded as one of the fiercest pass rushers in the league throughout his time with the Giants.

After being with the franchise for the highest of highs and lowest of lows, Martin retired in 1988 – a Super Bowl ring placed on his finger.
