2) Andy Robustelli

Years: 1956-1964

Legacy: Two-time NFL Champion (1951, 1956); Seven-time Pro Bowl (1953, 1955-1957, 1959-1961); Six-time First-team All-Pro (1953, 1955, 1956, 1958-1960)

Instant impact – the NY Giants won the NFL Championship in Andy Robustelli’s first season in New York.

Following great success in Los Angeles, the Rams traded their defensive lineman to the Giants – where he would spend the final nine years of his career. His presence was felt on the team’s defensive line from the day he stepped foot in New York, to his retirement in 1964.

He helped lead the Giants to the NFL Championship a whopping six times, and received the Bert Bell Award in 1962 – given to the best player in the NFL. Shortly after his retirement, he was enshrined in the Pro Football Hall of Fame – inducted in 1971.
