8) Antonio Pierce

Years: 2005-2009

Legacy: Super Bowl Champion (XLII)

The leader of the NY Giants underdog defense – without Antonio Pierce, it’s likely Tom Brady and the New England Patriots accomplish their undefeated season.

Pierce was everything you want in a linebacker – fearless, intelligent and ferocious. His plays against the Green Bay Packers in the NFC Championship game bailed the Giants out on multiple occasions.

His time in New York may have been brief, but Pierce’s impact on the franchise will last lifetimes.
