4) Jessie Armstead

Years: 1993-2001

Legacy: Five-time Pro Bowl (1997-2001); Three-time All-Pro (1997, 1999, 2000)

Jessie Armstead may not have the Super Bowl rings, but he was one of the league’s best linebackers throughout his time in blue.

An eighth round pick in 1993, Armstead’s accolades were impressive as any – developing into a perennial All-Pro player. His defense helped the Giants break through to the Super Bowl, but unfortunately they couldn’t close the deal against the Baltimore Ravens.

The lack of a championship as a player works against Armstead, but watching one minute of his tape lends credence to his spot on this list.
