9) Otto Schnellbacher

Years: 1950-1951

Legacy: Two-time Pro Bowl (1950, 1951)

He only played two season for the NY Giants, but it’s tough to have two better seasons than Otto Schnellbacher had for the franchise.

In his two Pro Bowl seasons with the Giants, Schnellbacher started all 24 games and intercepted 19 passes. He also recovered five fumbles and scored two touchdowns.

His athleticism was off the charts – as Schnellbacher played both professional football and basketball. The one complaint Giants’ fans may have with the defensive back is that he didn’t play longer – but he certainly made his impact.
