5) Erich Barnes

Years: 1961-1964

Legacy: Six-time Pro Bowl (1959, 1961-1964, 1968); First-team All-Pro (1961)

A bulldog of a player – Erich Barnes was a star while playing for the NY Giants.

The ferocious cornerback used his aggressive play-style to his advantage – making the Pro Bowl in every season he played in Giants’ blue. He was electrifying when he got his hands on the ball – evident by his 102-yard touchdown against the Dallas Cowboys in 1961.

The NY Giants eventually traded Barnes to the Cleveland Browns, but Barnes gave the franchise his all in his four years with the team.
