3) Dick Lynch

Years: 1959-1966

Legacy: Pro Bowl (1963); First-team All-Pro (1963)

The two-time league leader in interceptions, Dick Lynch helped the NY Giants’ secondary shut teams down on a continuous basis.

While he never won a NFL Championship, he played in four iterations of the game. Over his career, he intercepted 35 touchdowns for the team’s defense.

While his playing career was tremendous, Lynch continued to stay around the team in an analyst role for over 40 years. He continued to stay in the hearts of Giants fans up until the very last game he broadcasted – the team’s Super Bowl XLII victory.
