NY Giants player #4 that could tumble down depth chart Ifeadi Odenigbo

Azeez Ojulari out of Georgia has scouts raving about his potential in year one, with rookie contributions looking like a formality for the SEC Second Team LB.

That makes things difficult for Ifeadi Odenigbo, who signed a one year deal for $2.5 million and has no guarantee to return in 2022. Odenigbo finally became a starter in 2020, but Ojulari makes it unlikely he will find the same role with New York this year.

NY Giants player #5 that could tumble down depth chart: Isaac Yiadom

Isaac Yiadom was able to find more consistent playing time in 2020 after starting half the season in 2019 with the Denver Broncos. Like Odenigbo, though, the addition of an impact rookie could force him to cede some of those minutes in 2021.

UCF’s Aaron Robinson is not as much of a threat to start at CB as Ojulari is at LB, but it wouldn’t be shocking to see him get to that point as the season progresses. Yiadom’s real issue is free agent signing Adoree’ Jackson from Tennessee, who could be in pole position to start after a sizable offseason payday reeled him in to begin with.
