2021 Contract: $2.3 million, $4.215 million cap hit

There’s a case to be made for Lawrence being not just the player on the NY Giants’ who provides the most value, but one of the most talented, as well.

“For them, it comes down to Dexter Lawrence,” an NFC defensive line coach recently told FanSided, when asked who the NY Giants’ best player not named Saquon Barkley is. “Things start up front, and he is as disruptive as they come. Dexter is really trending in the right direction to be an elite player”

Lawrence is entering his third NFL season, quickly developing a reputation as one of the more versatile and disruptive interior linemen in the league.

Last season, Lawrence produced 29 total pressures along with four sacks while garnering a 79.7 overall grade from Pro Football Focus. Playing a second season under defensive line coach Sean Spencer and coordinator Patrick Graham, could lead to an uptick in 2021.
