Game #2 set to define the NY Giants’ season: Week 11 vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Cliché as it may be to list a matchup against the reigning Super Bowl Champions, like New Orleans, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are very much a measure-up match for the NY Giants coming off the Week 10 bye.

Tom Brady and the NY Giants have a storied history that includes 2/3rds of the losses on his ten-game Super Bowl resume. That was when Eli Manning and Tom Coughlin were the top two names on the NY sports back pages, though.

Jones is 0-1 against Brady, losing a 25-23 odd-scored duel last November in a fan-less MetLife Stadium. While the two both threw 250+ yards and a pair of touchdowns, Jones was sloppy, being picked off twice in the process.

With the Bucs bringing home the 2021 Vince Lombardi Trophy and going onto maintain every single starter, it’s unquestionable this will be a season-defining test for Big Blue…unless something truly catastrophic happens before these two teams clash.

As it stands, this could be the marquee game of the season. No wonder it’s happening on a Monday night at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa.
